FAQ about Accounts

1.After successful payment for a course, when can I start learning online?
Your account is activated automatically when the payment is made online. 
However, if you pay by check, your account will be activated upon receipt of your check. 

 

2.When registering, is information for “Recommender” obligatory?
No, it’s optional.  But we’d appreciate it if you let us know who introduced you to Young Chinese.

 

3.When registering, why is it necessary to verify my email address?
The purpose is to activate your account, send you the free YCC, and enable you to change your password.

 

4.How can I change my password?
To change your password, sign in your account, click “My Account”, then click “Security Settings”, and follow the instructions. 

 

5.What if I’ve forgot my account name or password?
Your account name or password can be recovered by entering your email address you provided when registering, or customer service can recover it for you if they are provided with the email address you entered when registering. 

 

6.Is it possible to log into my account from different computers or from different locations?
Sorry, no. For security reasons, an account can only be used on one single computer at a time.  If a second computer attempts to log into the same account, the computer already logged in will be automatically kicked offline.

 

7.What’s the difference between a register user and a paid user?
Registered users can only view the trial lessons of the online courses while paid users are entitled to all contents of the purchased course plus the free online course materials.
